We want to invite you to the 2025 CCA South Conference, March 6-8. This year’s theme is “Running the Race.”
Hebrews 12:1 says, “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us”
There are many things that seek to distract us from running the race God has called us to run for His glory. As a result we can get discouraged and at times even be tempted to throw in the towel. That’s why a conference like this is so important. We need the exhortation we get from God’s word and the fellowship we have with one another to encourage us to keep pressing on.
We encourage you to bring your ministry leaders, volunteers, anyone who would benefit in going deeper in their walk with the Lord. Join us as we worship together, get encouraged together, and ultimately go back home rejuvenated to keep serving the Lord.
We have a great line up of speakers as well as a variety of workshops that will help you and your fellowship grow in your walks with the Lord. We look forward to spending time together as we seek to run the race that is set before us!

Jerel Hagerman
Who is Pastor Jerel Hagerman?
President of Calvary Bible Institute (CBI) in Joshua Springs, CA. It is Pastor Jerel’s desire to help equip believers for the work of the ministry, following the Lord’s example.
The Lord Jesus gathered his twelve disciples and for over three years poured His life into them. The disciples spent valuable time at the feet of Jesus learning the things of God and upon hearing the Word of God they were given the opportunity to go out and minister as they had seen Him do.
Students at Calvary Bible Institute are given the opportunity to listen, study and apply the Word of God to their lives.
Pat Lazovich
Who is Pastor Pat Lazovich?
Pastor Pat Lazovich has been the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Sierra Vista for the last twenty-one years.
Pastor Pat has been gifted with a real, genuine and fresh teaching style that relates to any age. He has the unique ability to speak relevantly without compromising the truths found in Scripture. His passion for a truthful and biblical worldview is inspiring and infectious. “Pastor Pat’s radio program “Strength for Today” is heard throughout southeast Arizona, southwest New Mexico, New Zealand and the Samoa Islands daily.
Pastor Pat has also had the ministry, “In The Potter’s Hands,” with a world wide audience! This hands-on presentation compares the relationship between the potter and the clay from Jeremiah 18 to vividly demonstrate the relationship between God and His people.
Pastor Pat and Gay Nell have been married for over 40 years and have 1 daughter.
Brett Bergstrom
Who is Pastor Brett Bergstrom?
Pastor Brett grew up in a Christian home and in his early teens made the personal decision to trust Jesus alone for his salvation. After an extended “prodigal” season, he re-surrendered his life to the Lord in 2000. After this encounter, he had a sincere passion for the Word of God and a desire to serve the Lord for the rest of his life. This led to an opportunity to lead a weekly men’s Bible study which he did for many years. The call to become a pastor came in 2008 first as an assistant, then senior pastor in Arizona.
The Lord led Pastor Brett to Missouri City to plant a new church in 2019. Brett and his wife Cristina have been married for 24 years and have three children and three grandchildren. They are continually amazed by the grace and blessings of God and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for Southwest Houston!
Ron Hindt
Who is Pastor Ron Hindt?
Pastor Ron Hindt is the senior pastor at Calvary Houston. Born and raised in southern California, he spent several years as a rock musician in the Hollywood/LA area.
In 1980, Pastor Ron joined Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa under Pastor Chuck Smith. He later served as an assistant pastor at Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills, California for several years.
Pastor Ron moved to Houston and founded Calvary Houston in 1991. What started as a small home fellowship, focused on contemporary worship and expositional teaching of the Bible, now serves thousands of people each week.
The vision of Calvary Houston is to Worship the Lord, Win the Lost, Disciple the Saints, and Send the Equipped. He and his wife, Yani, have a blended family with three grown children, two adopted children together, and three grandchildren.
The ministry of Calvary Houston has expanded to include daily radio broadcasts of Pastor Ron’s unique, expositional style of teaching. These half-hour broadcasts known as “Larger Than Life,” are aired daily throughout the United States.

Registration is $139 per person. Please note that we will have childcare available. The cost for childcare will be $60 per child up to three children. Any kiddos after first three will receive care for free! Yay!
